The Farm Received Preliminary Approval

In April 2008, the town of Rifle, Colorado granted Preliminary Plan approval for The Farm, a proposed subdivision of 150 acres located north of 16th Street and east of Graham Mesa Avenue. The plan includes 569 dwelling units (single-family, duplex, patio, townhomes, and multi-family), plus an elementary school, park, and a neighborhood shopping village in a pedestrian friendly neighborhood. Developer Donates Land for New School
Graham Mesa Development, LLC, the developer of The Farm donated a nine-acre parcel of land for Graham Mesa Elementary School. The 63,000-square foot school is expected to accommodate 500 students. The construction of the school began in May 2008 and is expected to be completed in August 2009 in time for the 2009-2010 school year.
